An iguana on the island of Roatán
Roatán is a long, narrow island off the Caribbean coast of Honduras. Iguanas, like the one seen here, live in Roatán and in many areas of Central and South America. A member of the lizard family, it is a plant-eating animal with a long tail that can measure up to 6 feet.
